நேற்றைய புதிரில், சலக்கு சலக்கு சேலை வந்து ஓட்டிக்கிட்டாலே என்று நிறைய பேர் கலக்கினார்கள். அது ஒரு அருமையான fast-percussion-based பாடல். அதற்கும் முந்தையது, இதமான slow-percussion-based மெலடி பாடல்.
அப்படி என்றால், இன்று?
நீங்களே கேட்டுவிட்டு சொல்லுங்கள்.
இதுவும் அருமையான மெலடி கலந்த ஒரு ரொமாண்டிக் பாடல். இந்தப் பாடலின் சிறப்பே, மென்மையான continuous, percussion தான். இது கிளுகிளுப்பு பாடல் என்று கேட்பவர்களுக்கு அம்மாதிரியும், மெலடி தூக்கலாக இருக்கும் பாடல் என்று அணுகி கேட்பவர்களுக்கு படு சூப்பரான மெலடியாகவும் ஒலிக்கும். இது உண்மையிலேயே அப்படிப்பட்ட அருமையான சங்கதிகள் நிறைந்த பாடல்.
உதாரணத்திற்கு, இந்த புதிரின் ஆரம்ப இசையை கவனியுங்களேன். முதல் 5 நொடிகளின் percussion அடி, 41/365 – உருவிப்போடும் உருமி வெள்ளி மாதிரி இல்லை? 🙂
ஆனால், 41/365 – உருவிப்போடும் உருமி வெள்ளி பயங்கர வேகம் நிறைந்தது. இந்தப் பாடலோ மிக ஜாலியாக, மெதுவாக ஊர்ந்து செல்வது. அதிலும், இந்தப் புதிரின் இசையில் வருவதே ஒரு percussion-based beats in a single-track மற்றும் ஒரு long, solo, flute piece. அவ்வளவே. வேறு ஒரு கருவியும் இல்லாமல், கிட்டத்தட்ட 40 நொடிகள், இசைஞானி அடித்து நொறுக்கி இருக்கிறார் என்றால், நம்ப கஷ்டமாக இருக்கிறது. அல்லவா? 🙂 அதிலேயே, ஒரு tribal-effect கொடுத்துவிடுகிறார் இசைஞானி. பாடலில், ஹீரோவும் ஹீரோயினியும் கருப்பு-வெள்ளை சினிமாவை ஞாபகப்படுத்தும் அளவுக்கு செம கலரா இருப்பாங்க. 🙂
அதுவும் அந்த solo, flute sequence உங்களுக்கு வேறு ஒரு அதிரடி ஹிட் பாடலை ஞாபகப்படுத்தலாம். ஆனால், அது எதுன்னு நான் சொல்ல மாட்டேன் 🙂 But, this flute piece is not only melodious, but, gives a feel of the gale, during the rains. This feel of a rainy night is pretty evident as in 111/365, although, this particular song was shot pretty much indoor :-).
இந்த அதிரடி மெலடியிலே, bass-guitarsஉம் இல்லை, மெலடி கருவியான violinsஉம் இல்லை. என்ன விந்தை! (A very minimal guitar-string alone plays a “cameo” role towards the tail-end of this piece 🙂

தழுவாத கைகள் படத்திலிருந்து தொட்டுப்பாரு குத்தமில்ல பாடல்.
இந்த படத்துல எந்த பாட்டையும் கேட்டது இல்ல ‘விழியே விளக்கொன்று ஏற்று’ பாடலைத் தவிர. அது எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்தமான பாடலும் கூட.
இப்போது இந்த பாடலை எப்படி கண்டுபிடித்தேன் என்ற சுவாரஸ்யமான கதைக்கு வருவோம். புதிரின் கடைசி சில நொடி பரிச்சயமானது போல் இருந்தாலும் எந்த பாடல் என்று கண்டுபிடிக்கமுடியவில்லை. டெக்ஸ்ட் க்ளூவில் உள்ள பாடல் வரியை வைத்து கூகுளாண்டவர் உதவியையும் பெற முடியவில்லை.
ஆனால் உங்கள் வர்ணனையில் வந்த ‘ஹீரோ ஹீரோயின் கருப்பு வெள்ளை’ வரி எனது தேடலை ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட திசையில் ஆரம்பிக்க உதவியது. 80களின் பாடல் என்பதால் அந்த வரியை படித்ததும் ரஜினி, விஜயகாந்த், முரளி தான் ஞாபகத்திற்கு வந்தார்கள். அவங்க படத்துல வர்ற பாட்டெல்லாம் கேட்டு ஒரு வழியா கண்டுபிடிச்சாச்சு. இந்த தேடுதல் வேட்டைல இதுவரைக்கும் கேக்காத வேற சில நல்ல கிளுகிளுப்பு பாடல்களையும் கண்டுபிடிச்சிருக்கேன் 🙂

நம்ம மாஸ்டர் ‘பலகாரமோ’க்கு பதிலா ‘பலகாரமும்’னு டெக்ஸ்ட் க்ளூல குடுத்ததால ‘palakaaramum soodaaruthu’னு போட்டு தேடுனேன் எந்த ரிசல்ட்டும் வரல. அதனாலதான் TPல தேடுதல் வேட்டைய ஆரம்பிச்சேன்.
இடையில நம்ம @sundar140 கூகுள் வச்சுதான் கண்டுபிடிச்சேனு சொன்னாரு. எப்படினு கேட்டதுக்கு ‘பலகாரமோ சூடாறுது’னு தேடுனதுல கிடைச்சிச்சுனு சொன்னாரு. சரினு அப்படியே தமிழ்ல தேடுனா நம்ம ராஜா க்விஸ் சைட் மட்டும் தான் வந்துச்சு. ‘palakaaramo soodaaruthu’னு தேடுனாலும் ஒன்னும் மாட்டல. அப்புறம் திரும்ப TPல தேடுதலை கன்ட்னியூ பண்ணிதான் பாட்டை கண்டுபிடிச்சேன். இருந்தாலும் @sundar140 கூகுள் வச்சு கண்டுபுடிச்சேனு சொல்றாரே எப்படினு தேடுனப்பதான் இது மாட்டிச்சு. ஒரு ‘g’யும் ‘d’யும் நம்ம வாழ்க்கைல எப்படி விளையாடிருக்கு. ஆனா அதுவும் நன்மைக்கே வேறு சில நல்ல பாட்டுகளையும் கண்டுபிடிக்க உதவியதற்காக 🙂

Nice one! No text clues.. The last 4 seconds of the clip and immediately came out “தொட்டு பாரு”…:). How etched are these songs in mind? It has been atleast 10-15 years since I heard this song / watched on TV etc. But still the last 4 seconds got to it!

Very interesting quiz today…i thoroughly enjoyed the challenge… well text clue was not of any help for me…it resulted in #365rajaquiz…some well known other songs only came to mind listening to audio clue.
so read, re-read the prologue trying to figure what song it would be..desperately was looking for “search criteria”…
just like that “ilayaraja romantic songs”-nu search pannaen..Google youtube video-va ve koduthuduchhu…
Sorry, I give up.:) May be I have not heard this one at all. It sounds familiar, but at the same time, it is eluding me for quite long. Even the lyrics clue didn’t help me much, as it is difficult to search on lyrics. From the lude, I concluded this must be a film during 1980 to 1985. still not successful.

Yahoo! I got it now. Thanks a lot RR, I never tried google. Thottuppaaru Kuththamilla (prelude) from Thazhuvaatha KaigaL. EthanayO thadava kEtta paadal, but not recently. Problem is I didn’t even go to 1986, I stopped with 1985. I have it in my collection too. That’s a Maestro surprise implying not to prejudice his style and that was a perfect googly. How could I even miss this. I would have felt sad, when I come to know tomorrow about the answer. Good that found it now.
