இந்தப் புதிரின் பாடலில் ஒரு பழைய பட effect இருக்கும். அதுவே இந்தப் பாடலை அன்றைய காலத்தில் ஹிட்டாக்கியது. இந்தப் படம் இன்றுவரை பேசப்பட்டு வருவதற்குக் காரணம், இதில் காட்டப்பட்ட tragedy கதைக்களமா, அல்லது இசைஞானி இளையராஜாவின் இசை ராஜ்ஜியமா என்று ஒரு பட்டிமண்டபமே போடலாம். படத்தின் ஹீரோ, ஒரு பலாப்பழம், வெளியே கரடுமுரடான தாதா டைப் rough and tough guy. ஆனால், இளகின மனசுக்காரன். பாசக்காரப் பய. மனைவிமேலும், குழந்தைமேலும் அவ்வளவு பாசம். பஞ்சாயத்து பண்ணுவதில் கில்லாடி. இருந்தும், அவன் பொஞ்சாதி அல்ப ஆயுசுல போயிடுவா. ஒருவித Godfather character இவனுக்கு. ஊர்ப் பஞ்சாயத்து. இவன் வாழ்க்கையில் வீசும் புயலுக்கு மத்தியிலே, பழைய பாடல் feelல் ராஜா அமர்க்களப்படுத்தியிருக்கும் சூப்பர் பாடல்தான் இது. கண்டுபிடிக்கலாம்தானே?

Although Maestro Ilaiyaraaja did NOT sing this song, the songs he sung in this film pretty much became iconic hits. Besides, the Director of this movie has a distinct name for his own style of film-making and his family has other movie talent :). A very important actor debuted in this movie!
